As one of the leading Event Photographer in India, last year on the 12th, 13th & 14th of June, we got the wonderful opportunity to capture candidly the social activities of one of the Dynamic Social Activists & Leading Politicians from Goa, Fatorda – Mr.Vijai Sardesai.
We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to get this opportunity to know Mr.Vijai Sardesai in person in our short photography stint of 3 days. Mr. Vijai Sardesai is an extremely graceful & dynamic politician from Fatorda, Goa. He represents most beautifully the Goan Culture & is a true Goan by heart. Generally one tends to assume that the life of a Politician or a Dynamic Social Activist must be relatively easy and not very hectic. But it was not the case with Mr.Vijai Sardesai. He is not only one of the dynamic social activists & leading politicians from Fatorda, Goa, but he is also one of the most busiest & extremely hard-working citizens of our country.
We were totally amazed & completely in awe of this person the very day we met him on the 12th of June. The 3 days were completely packed to the brim & he was extremely busy & had a lot of social activities to carry out. In spite of his busy & hectic schedule, he treated us just like his family & took utmost care of us.

We also got the wonderful opportunity to meet & experience in person Congress Stalwarts like Mr.Churchill Alemao, Chief Minister Mr. Digambar Kamat, Mr.Babush, The wonderful singer from Goa, Mr.Sidhanath Buyao. All of them are highly eminent personalities from Goa & every single one of them we got to meet & get to know in person. We had a great time capturing some of their wonderful shared moments. We would like to thank them all for being so nice & kind to us & treating us with so much love & warmth.
14th of June was Mr.Vijai Sardesai’s B’day. Instead of celebrating and enjoying his b’day with family & friends, he instead opted for doing a lot of social activities on the day. All this simply tells you the true nature & character of the man himself.
Here is a short list of the Itinerary we had to cover on the 12th, 13th & 14th of June:
12th June: About 6 Hours, to take the following shots:
1) Mr. Vijai: Singular
2) Mr. Vijay with Mrs. Usha (Wife) and Miss Urvi (Daughter) as a family portrait.
3) Photographs of Mr. Vijai meeting his constituency members in the office / ward
4) Photographs of his constituency
13th June: About 6 Hours, to take the following shots:
1) Mr. Vijai Sardesai’s Residence
2) Hobbies like reading and other lifestyle shots.
14th June: D-DAY! Mr. Vijai Sardesai’s birthday will take him throughout his constituency and the day will start early, at about 6AM and will go on till 11PM. Following Shots:
1) Meeting with constituency members
2) Meeting with Congress Stalwarts like Mr.Churchill Alemao, Chief Minister Mr. Digambar Kamat etc
3) Gift Distribution of Sewing Machines to women folk
4) Felicitation in schools etc
5) Evening – Felicitation of People who have contributed to the development of Fatorda, Goa – Awards Ceremony. Miss Celina Jaitley to be the present at the event to felicitate the event & the show. There were many great performances at the event & the highlight of the show was one of the most talented singers from India – Mr.Rahul Saxena. It was later followed by a wonderful fashion show & the event came to its peak when Mr.Vijai Sardesai was given a pleasant surprise by all his friends. They had got a big cake for the Birthday boy & the event ended on a happy note followed by the cake cutting & a short & encouraging speech by Miss Celina Jaitley.
