The label ‘mapxencaRS’ eponymous to luxury and high fashion by twin sisters Riddhi and Siddhi showcased a fresh and vibrant collection at The Tata Nano Talent Box at the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013.
Rich and versatile fabrics such as linen, pure silks and natural cottons graced the runway in timeless silhouettes of short dresses, tunics, jackets, trousers and tops with a structured flow that was both delicate and carefully accentuated.
For the men, the designer duo created flamboyant and ‘out of the box’ suits with pop coloured piping and mosaic-like forms along the matte toned body. A suit which stood out had an almost experimental edge with structured blue gathers running down the spine area.

Sexy and wild, bold and beautiful the collection – by Riddhi and Siddhi Maxpencar under their label “mapxencaRS” captivated and dazzled all and was one that any fashion conscious individual will remember for years to come.
Lakme Fashion Week 2013 – Sayantan Sarkar
Sayantan Sarkar also showcased his Beautiful colourful Look At The Tata Nano Talent Box During Lakmé Fashion Week 2013. Sayantan Sarkar who is known for prêt and couture line for both men and women presented a gorgeous collection titled ‘The Dragonfly Effect’ at the Tata Nano Talent Box this season during Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013.
The range showcased a unique blend of western silhouettes embellished by traditional Indian work in fabrics like silk, organza, georgette and linen.
The colour palette comprised versatile, timeless shades of fairy white, dusky coal, olive green, and citrus yellow – which stayed true to the nature inspired theme.
The collection comprised coat-like kurtis, dresses, jackets, trousers, tops and skirts for women while also focusing on semi formal men’s wear such as blazers and sleek trousers.
Clean slender cuts accentuated by bright defined dragonfly prints, lines, pops of colour, vertical gathers and further decorated by self developed jamdani weaves, gave his collection a subtly daring edge.
Unconventional and simply delightful ‘The Dragonfly Effect’ by Sayantan Sarkar is one collection which any Fashionista would dream of.
